As we shared in the previous true abduction story of Betty and Barney Hill, we are here to share another true story/claim of an Air Force Sergeant Charles L. Moody. Let’s move to the more detailed information on the story.

Introduction

This amazing abductioncase took place on August 13, 1975 in the midnight when Air Force Sergeant Charles L. Moody was out of the car in the deserts of Alamogordo to see a meteor shower. Soon he observed that what he was seeing was a metallic, saucer-like object which was glowing as if there were “lights” around it. It was about 90 metres above in the sky and looked like huge 50 feet long craft to Sergeant Moody. Moody was just trying to recognize what it was when the strange craft suddenly started moving towards him which made Moody run away and escape from there.

Encounter with the Unidentified Object/Craft

Frightened Moody when anyhow reached his car, he was unable to start the engine after multiple efforts. He then observed that the UFO coming to him has stopped in the mid-air at some distance from him. He was only able to hear a strange sound of an engine which was not of his car. 

Next thing he saw was some human-like beings in the UFO. Moody felt a little dizziness as the strange sound stopped coming into his ears. After this, the unidentified craftmoved away and headed back towards the sky.

The Missing Time

Moody was a bit disturbed and was unable to understand what had just happened right there. But, had he also missed something else during this period? Soon he came to know, a time span of approximately 1.5 hours was missing from his memory. The clocks were showing the time as 3:00 AM of the midnight which was almost half an hour more than what it should have been.

Severe pain after UFO encounter

What was it? What was wrong with the time? Were they aliens? Sergeant had no answers to the many question rising up in his mind. Apart from that, he had started suffering from severe pain in his body and lower back. His condition went even worse within a few days. The amazed and suffering Moody decided to meet a physician telling him everything that he had gone through, from whom he was suggested to take self-hypnosis sessions to recall exactly what had happened that midnight.

Self hypnosis revealed alien interference

After a couple of days, Sergeant Moody was able to recall some of the blurred memories he had gone through on that midnight. He recalled, just after the strange sound had stopped that midnight, he had became partially drowsy. Later, two humanoid creatures in skin tight suits and about 6 feet tall were standing before him. Next thing he could memorize was he was lying on a table inside the craft.

He was completely paralyzed and unable to move a bit and another alien of about a 5 year old kid’s height was standing next to him. The appearance of the shorter one was quite similar to the description of aliens found in several other abduction cases, it goes like think lips, small ears, small nose and big round eyes.

The secret message and telepathic communication

As he says, the shorter alien in the ship was able to establish telepathic connection with Moody. Moody, being surrounded by strange looking creatures was afraid enough resist and escape from there. This was the time when the alien with less height talked to him telepathically, asking him to cooperate with them. The round-eyed creature freed Sergeant from the paralysis by touching with back with a rod-like device. Afterwards, the alien made Moody see their drive unit and also told that a larger-ship is waiting for them above the Earth and their next communication with the Earthians will be established after twenty or more years.

Aliens made him forget everything

The round-eyed leader of the aliens also told him that he will be made to forget all the incidents happened with him inside the UFO and will not be able to recall it for several weeks, after which he was again made unconscious.

Validation for Moody’s abduction claim

Unlike Moody’s non-matching answers about the distance between him and the UFO, Charles McQuiston, the inventor of the Psychological Stress Evaluator studied and examined Moody’s case and concluded the truthfulness of Sergeant Charles L. Moody about his abduction claim.

When Betty and Barney got abducted by Aliens

Back in 1961, on September 19, at around 10:30 pm, the married couple were returning home from vacation in Niagara Falls and Montreal, Canada when the unexplained happened. After reaching home, they realized that a time span of approximately 2 hours was missing from their lives. Both Betty and Barney Hill were unable to recall where these hours had gone or what they did during this time.

Betty and Barney Hill were an American interracial couple who lived in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

When the incident happened, the 'Hills' were unable to understand what had happened with them or perhaps the time. Being detailed in their reports, the Hills had have sighting of a bright point of light in the sky which Betty thought a falling star. Soon they realized that the supposedly 'star' was able to move upwards and change its direction of movements being bigger and brighter (Usually, things look like getting bigger in size as they come nearer to us). Using her binoculars, Betty even observed a craft-like body which was flashing different colors of lights. Betty, as informed by her sister about flying saucer sightings, thought it could be a UFO, while Barney thought it a commercial aircraft. Soon the two realized that the craft is heading towards their direction, and decided to get back to the car and continued driving.

The missing time and 35 miles in a blink of eyes

The unexplained was when they arrived home and realized that nearly 2 hours time was what they were unable to recall what had happened. The leather strap of binoculars was torn, his shoes too were strangely scrapped and the strange was they couldn't recall how it had happened. More strange was that they had crossed around 35 miles of distance in a couple of minutes, which was of course impossible and hard to believe. All they remembered was they were frightened by a strangely and erratically moving craft or UFO.

The story got its first validation as both of them had suffered the loss of time at the same time and they had not taken any drug or alcohol on that day.

Confirmation of UFO arrival

The two were tired and went to the bed and contacted Please Air Force Base the next morning, telling about the incident happened with them. The UFO or Unidentified craft was also observed by
the Air Force's radar, as confirmed by Major Paul W. Henderson.

Past Regression sessions and unlocking the lost memories

Taking the help of writers, the two managed a time chart of the happening on that unusual day. It was pretty sure that the two hours time was missing. The couple decided to meet Dr. Benjamin Simon, a well-known psychiatrist and neurologist based in Boston. By the suggestion Benjamin Simon, the two agreed for Regressive Hypnosis session. In simpler words, Regressive Hypnosis is a treatment to recall past events happened with a patient which he/she had forgotten.

For the first time, the curtains from the unsolved, unexplained incident were to be removed. The regression treatment was carried on for around six months and the Simon concluded that the two had been abducted by strange looking creatures and were even taken to an Unknown craft.

The controversial treatment, had unlocked new doors of mystery for Betty and Barney. As recalled during the regression sessions, the UFO had landed on the road and the humanoid creatures came out and took the Hill couple to their craft (the UFO!), where a number of scientific tests were done on Betty and Barney. The aliens had even hypnotized the two to not to disclose the incident with anyone.

Description of the Aliens (The Kidnappers?)

The Hills described the Alien Abductors as grey alien beings with large opened eyes and small mouths. All these were around 5 foot tall with large pear-shaped heads with no hairs on skin at all. Needed not to mention, this is the ideal description of the grey aliens who have been visiting to the Earth since a long ago and similar claims for greys have been recorded from several people around the globe.

The "Grey aliens" performed a variety of physical and mental experiments on Betty and Barney Hill during which the samples of their hairs, skin and nails etc were taken. Betty was undergone gynecological testing while Barney disclosed that his sperm samples were taken by the greys.

The Hills abduction story is unique and controversial as this was one of the many alien abduction stories of 1960s that were largely spread by the press and media.

2. Deep space communication, navigation, mission planning, and management. The five scientific instruments equipped to Mangalyaan were chosen to perform various scientific investigations on the Martian atmosphere and surface. These instruments are as follows:

1. Lyman Alpha Photometer (LAP): This instrument was used to measure the relative abundance of deuterium and hydrogen from Lyman-alpha emission in the Martian upper atmosphere. It was used to understand the loss process of water from the planet.

• The new found planet is 4x Jupiter’s mass and covers 9 times the distance covered by Jupiter while orbiting its star.
• The expected temperature of GJ 504b is around 237 degrees Celsius (or around 75 degrees Fahrenheit).

“If we could travel to this giant planet, we would see a world still glowing from the heat of its formation with a reminiscent of a dark cherry blossom, a dull magenta …”, says Michael McElwain, from NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Centre, Greenbelt, Maryland.

Michael confirms the color of GJ 504b to be more bluish that other imaged planets from the data collected by near-infrared camera. “…which may indicate that its atmosphere has fewer clouds”, adds Michael.

New hopes from the discovery

While the temperature and expected atmospheric conditions of GJ 504b do not seem to be perfect for the presence of life, we cannot refrain from wondering about a different life form which has managed to exist and grow in such conditions. Also, the discovery of GJ 504b has also increased the possibilities of life on the other undiscovered planets in constellation Virgo, and we never know if a technologically advanced alien life form (may be Zeebans and Gootans) is present on some other near-GJ 504b planets which are yet to be discovered by we humans.

Deep Sleep-Phase Syndrome (DSPS); Introduction, Symptoms, Medications

Deep Sleep Phase Syndrome (DSPS) or Delayed Sleep-Phase Disorder (DSPD) is a kind of neurological sleep disorder which disturbs the normal sleeping and waking time of a person. It affects our body’s clock and delays the sleeping time for hours. The patients suffering from DSPS are unable to sleep early or at time in the night and such type of disorders are likely to affect 20 of every 1000 adults every year. What is Deep Sleep-Phase disorder?

• Patients have greater than normal ability to fall asleep in the morning time; however, a normal healthy person may find difficulties in sleeping in morning time.

• Patients have difficulty to schedule their sleeping time to an earlier time.

• Patients do have a disturbed sleep schedule; however, there comes no issues of a broken, disturbed or non-continuous sleep once they are asleep.

• Patients usually tend to fall asleep after 2 a.m. of midnight.

• Babies and children with DSPS refuse to go to bed before they become too drowsy to fall asleep.

The symptoms of DSPD are often confused by people as well as doctors with other sleep disorders and insomnia; however, DSPS has been put in different category of ICSD. Unlike other sleep disorders, DSPS actually, is a chronological and neurological sleep disorder.

Additional health effects of Delayed sleep-phase syndrome include weight gain, diabetes, cancer, anxiety disorders, fibromyalgia and many more problems. • The patients are also given Melatonin a few hours earlier than their bedtime. Melatonin is known for its sleepiness factor in medical field. However, an improper amount of Melatonin can always be of ne help, hence, it is highly recommended to consult a doctor before consuming it.

Some advanced applications of Chronotherapy also include forcing a patient to remain awake for a day of two and then go for sleep some hours before their delayed sleeping schedule. Good repetitions of this process have been helpful in treating the problem of DSPS in a number of patients.

Scientists have become successful in developing a mini human brain model in their laboratory. Do your kids watch television for hours? Well, it is quite normal as small kids are so much fond of cartoon shows. But, beware! A recent research made on kids under age 3 has revealed that watching TV for more than 2 hours may put them in mental and physical risks.

The research was conducted by Professor Linda Pagni from Montreal University. In the research, they found that the kids who watch TV for more than 2 hours a day suffer slow mental and physical growth. Such kids do not only have an IQ less than the normal kids but their ability to do mathematical operations and memorizing is affected negatively. The research also revealed that it also affects the physical growth and health of kids negatively.

The research included a brief observance of psychological and socialistic problems faced by the kids in kindergarten classroom, who watch too much television.

The kids who watch TV for hours are likely to have less interest in studies and suffer several concentration disorders. The research is only of its kind and supposed to be helping to almost every parent.

Professor Linda Pagni quoted that it can be dangerous to let the kids aging 2-3 years watch too much TV for hours.

While it feels like a jail to stop our kids from watching their cartoon shows or making it limited, we should not ignore our children’s mental and physical health. It is clear from the research the research that parents need to take good care if the kids are big fan of watching cartoon shows on TV.

In today’s super accelerated and busy life, it becomes hard to save time for relaxing, meditating or going for morning/evening walks in order to maintain our brain’s health. The good news is only a few minutes exercise can balance our mental health. A research done by the students of University of Illinois revealed that practicing Yoga for 20 minutes a day can keep our brains healthy.

The research was headed by Neha Gothe and team of University of Illinois, Washington. The research was done on thirty people including teenagers, women and students pursuing graduation. The participants were said to perform Yoga exercises while their mental and physical stability was being observed throughout the process. After practicing Yoga for about 20 minutes, the researchers found a considerable improvement in their performance, speed and accuracy. The research also included an aerobic exercise for the participants that resulted in better self awareness in them.

Edward McAuley, who is the professor of Illinois kinesiology and community health and the director of the Exercise Psychology said, “Yoga is becoming an increasingly popular form of exercise in the U.S. and it is imperative to systematically examine its health benefits, especially the mental health benefits that this unique mind-body form of activity may offer”.

The research team included kinesiology and community health professor, Charles Hillman from University of Illinois and professor of kinesiology, Matthew Pontifex from Michigan State University.

Neha Gothe, the lead researcher from India said that Yoga is an ancient Indian science and a way to life which does not only include physical exercises and body postures but meditation and breathing exercises as well.

God particle is a sub-atomic particle (also known as ‘Higgs Boson’) which is responsible for proving mass of the matter. It is known that the weight of a body depends on the presence of gravitation while the mass always remains same, be it on Earth or any other planet or moon. In this article, I am going to talk on God particle; what is God particle/Higgs Boson and how it was named so. What is God Particle? Why the Higgs boson matters?

The God Particle (or Higgs boson) is a sub-atomic particle discovered by CERN, is considered to an important particle responsible for the mass of matter and a building block of the Universe. It is believed to be the mass provider or a strong constituent of matter which contributes in the mass and various other properties of matter (solid, liquid, gas). According to Layman’s theory, a variety of sub-atomic particles play a main role to enrich the matter with different properties.

The Higgs boson was named after the name of Peter Higgs, the man who gave the idea of mass providing sub-atomic particles. The Higgs boson is also known as ‘The God Particle’ on the title of a book ‘The God Particle: If the Universe Is the Answer, What Is the Question?’ by Leon Leaderman and Dick Teresi (a science writer). Leon Leaderman is a Nobel Prize winning physicist who called it an important reason for the existence of Universe. However, its name having ‘God’ does not relate it to any kind of religious matters. It is believed that the secrets of Higgs boson will unfold the mystery of formation of Universe and Life on the Earth.

What is Large Hadron Collider?

The ‘Large Hadron Collider’ is an advanced particle accelerometer planted in border Switzerland and France. Scientists are using the particle accelerometer to reveal and understand more secrets and complexity of ‘The God Particle’. The term ‘Hadron’ stands for the beam of high energy sub-atomic particles which can be protons or lead ions. Two beams of Hadrons are blasted at each-other for collision inside an underground pipeline, known as collider, in order to observe and reveal more about the Higgs boson. These high energy collisions results into the momentary existence of Higgs boson proving it really exists. The scientists from CERN (The European Organization for Nuclear Reasearch) have been working on the ‘Large Hadron Collider’.

Earlier, the American scientists had been using the particle accelator, the Fermalib Tevatron collider located near Batavia, Illinois since years. The Fermalib Tevatron collider was discontinued by the ‘Department of Energy’ due to low budget trouble. The book, ‘The God Particle: If Universe is the answer, what is the question?’ was published in 1993 by Leaderman for the same reason to ask support from the US government and create awareness about the importance of knowing the mysteries of sub-atomic particles and the Universe.

What if Higgs Boson did not exist?

If we believe the scientists, Higgs boson is reason for mass in matter or it is the mass of the matter itself. If Higgs boson did not exist, they may have been only photons and mass-less particles. Everything that existed was supposed to be super speedy as light.

In such a condition, the living species present today on the Earth may not have ever existed. No living species (including Homo sapiens sapiens) or man-made constructions on the Earth may have remained alive or in the state they were built as. In ever simpler words, we can take it as a Universe where the activities expected to happen in a trillion years may have happened in couple of days.

Therefore, Higgs boson is referred as ‘The God Particle’ and is very important for the existence of Life and whatever is present in the Universe or the Space.

Is Higgs boson particle related to time and time travel? Can it take the Earth to an end?

We may think so! Yes, since we have became familiar with the term ‘Higgs boson’, many scientists and physicist have claimed the Higgs boson an element of time or something that may influence time-space curve resulting into a time traveling portal. In 2010, the Large Hadron Collider, which is being used to find and observe the existence of Higgs boson, had been in media for some strange reasons. Why? A differently dressed man, named Eloi Cole, had been caught near the Large Hadron Collider. His dressing was too alien to believe if he was from the present time or a near-by country. He told the physicist and police that he has come from future to stop research undergoing the Large Hadron Collider for the Higgs boson. In his future, the Higgs boson had been successfully found and had changed almost everything in the human world, as said by Mr. Eloi Cole. When he was asked about the country he came from, he replied strangely as he is from a time where countries no exist. He even said, the results of this research will be very harmful and he has come to stop it before the bad happen.

It is a communist chocolate hellhole and I'm here to stop it from ever happening."

He also told that he is from a time (in future) where countries are no more existing, when asked about the country he came from. Later, if the news has be to believed, when he was sent to mental asylum, he just disappeared like a whoosh!

Now, it is on us to believe it or not. Personally, I do have doubt that he was telling the truth and his time travelling story is a big sign to us that we are on a path to discover and understand more about the Higgs boson. However, the message from the time-traveler leaves us in a question that we are on a path that has a destination, but how right are we going? Will the final discovery of Higgs boson and its working patterns lead the world or us to an end?

UNICEF’s Sweat Machine turns sweat into drinkable water

Ever thought of drinking/tasting your or a friend’s sweat while thirsty? I guess, ‘NO’. Recently, UNICEF promoted an amazing Sweat Machine which turns perspiration into clean drinkable water. The promotion was a part of campaign organized by UNICEF to create aware about water and how can we save and properly utilize each drop of water.

While it may look a bit insane and yucky to imagine if sweaty water will be introduced in the packed bottles in market, a Swedish engineer has taken the chance to invent a sweat machine that will turn your perspiration liquid into the water we drink.

The sweat machine was presented in the public for the first time during a water scarcity awareness campaign by Unicef, which was held in Sweden.

The inventor of Sweat machine, Andreas Hammar is an engineer and TV personality based in Sweden. According to the inventor and Unicef, the machine first takes away all the sweat from our sweaty clothes with the help of a spinner, then heating and filtering of the sweating liquid is done in order to remove the impurities after which only the clean water remains in the system.

An estimation made by The United Nations agency reveals that more than 780 million people worldwide fight the unavailability of clean water for drinking and cooking usage.

“It uses a technique called membrane distillation”, said Hammar in ‘The Independent’. Hammar also said, “We use a substance that is a bit like Goretex that only lets steam through but keeps bacteria, salts, clothing fibers and other substance out”.

The machine has been currently set up in Gothenburg where more than a thousand people have already tested and drunk the water processed from sweat.

"They have something similar on the Space Station (International Space Station) to treat astronauts' urine, but our machine was cheaper to build. The amount of water it produces depends on how sweaty the person is, but one person's T-shirt typically produces 10ml, roughly a mouthful.” said Hammar. The inventor also claims that the sweat processed by the sweat machine will be water cleaner than the local tap water.

To promote the campaign, UNICEF offered the Swedish soccer players to have ‘no-more-sweaty’ water taken from their T-Shirts with the help of Sweat machine.

Peter Westberg, Deputy Executive Director (D.E.D.) at UNICEF, Sweden said, “We wanted to raise this subject in a new, playful an engaging way. Our Sweat Machine is a reminder that we all share the same water. We all drink and sweat in the same way, regardless of how we look or what language we speak. Water is everyone's responsibility and concern."

The idea of the inventor to turn sweat into drinking water is highly appreciable. It is a nice small step to fight the bigger clean water scarcity the humans are supposed to suffer in the near future. What do you think friends? Bacterium 'Planococcus haloctyophilus OR1' bacterium from Earth unfolds the signs of Life possible on Mars ‘The Red Planet’

Bacterium from Canadian high Arctic has been found to survive on most downfallen (permafrost) temperatures easily. The frosting temperature on Ellesmere Island, Canadian high Arctic is closely similar to that of the surface of Mars. Hence, this special organism has shown new possibilities of Life on Mars as well as one of the moons of Saturn, Enceladus.

The surface temperature of Mars and Enceladus holds subzero conditions where life cannot be expected, however, this bacterium offered an ease in surviving in conditions similar to subzero conditions, i.e. temperature below -15ºC. The new founding had been made recently by McGill University and their scientists on a bacterium.

The team of researchers did screening of about two hundred different microbes to find the most able microorganisms that may survive in the lowest temperature conditions of the Arctic, and discovered a bacterium ‘Planococcus halocryophilus OR1’ from Ellesmere Island of the Canadian high Arctic.

The team leader, Professor Lyle Whyte from the Department of Natural Resource Sciences at McGill University said, “We believe that this bacterium lives in thin veins of very salty water found within the frozen permafrost on Ellesmere Island”. "The salt in the permafrost brine veins keeps the water from freezing at the ambient permafrost temperature, creating a habitable but very harsh environment. It is not the easiest place to survive, but this organism is capable of remaining active to at least -25ºC in permafrost.” says Lyle Whyte.

The researchers shared, this bacterium is capable of surviving in permafrost and harsh cold conditions, however, such microbes plays a big role in Global warming by releasing carbon dioxide from the melting permafrost.

To understand the factor how this Bacterium is capable to such cold conditions, the researchers studied its genome sequence and traits. After studying the molecular traits of the Bacterium, they found some modifications undergoing in its cell structure while adapting to such extremely cold temperature conditions. Also, its enveloping membranes change and provide protection from harsh cold conditions.

The P.halocryophilus bacterium tends to bring increase in the amounts of cold-adapted proteins to survive in permafrost. Prof. Whyte, who led the team of researchers with Nadia Mykytczuk said, “"I'm kind of proud of this bug. It comes from the Canadian High Arctic and is our cold temperature champion, but what we can learn from this microbe may tell us a lot about how similar microbial life may exist elsewhere in the solar system."

The results of this research were shared to the common people some three months ago, to amaze everyone that at least an Earthian, however a bacterium, is capable of surviving on the uneasy and harsh subzero conditions of the Red Planet.

Chinese man Mr. Li claims to have an Alien in his freezer

How do they look? Why do aliens visit the Earth? How they are different from us, and do aliens really exist or it is just a myth? These are a few doubts out of many the human race always has with it. Among all these questions, a Chinese man shared in public some pictures of an alien in his freezer. The alien; whose name is enough to invite us knowing about this news further.

Mr. Li, a local resident of China claims having an alien with him and that too in his home. He has shot a few pictures of an alien whom he had stored in a freezer. Afterwards, Mr. Li posted these pictures on the Internet and made the human race surprised. The pictures had become a matter of attraction and excitement among the social networking sites in China.

According to Mr. Li, he had heard some noise on the roof of his house and he turned vigilant about the same. Then he saw an alien spaceship which was actually a flying saucer of aliens landed on the ground. When this strange looking alien creature came out of the ship, he just somehow took it with him and kept it in a freezer at his home, where he also took a few photograph of the so called ‘ET’ alien creature.

He had seen the view of some UFOs floating in the sky along the Yellow River, Binzhou Shandong province. One of those UFOs had been crashed on the ground at sudden, during March and later he carried the alien guest found after the crash-landing to his home in a rabbit trap, says Mr. Li.

While Mr. Li was claiming to have an alien in his freezer all over the Internet, the police said to the media that the alien founding was completely untrue. The police said the alien creature was only a high quality rubber doll. Was the news of real alien founding a hoax and intentional rumor? We should not really think so… After all, it has not been for the first time when totally clear news and proofs of aliens has been given a U-turn by the Government.
